Plan mode

Plan mode turns your idea into a plan with pages, data, integrations and a price, before any code is written.

When to use it

Use plan mode for a new app, a new area of an app, payments, accounts or anything you want priced first. For small edits like text, colours or one new section, just ask in the chat.

What a plan contains

  • The pages and how they link together
  • The database tables and their fields
  • The services to connect, such as Stripe or Shopify
  • Features Appmake suggests you may have forgotten, such as a cookie banner
  • Costs outside Appmake, such as Shopify or text-message fees
  • A credit estimate as a range

Phases

Bigger apps are split into phases. A CRM, for example, starts with contacts, deals and tasks, then adds email and import, then teams and reports. The plan shows every phase with its own estimate.

You approve phase 1. When it is live, Appmake offers the next phase in the chat with Build phase 2 and Not now. Phases you skip stay in the plan until you ask for them.

Edit and approve

Click Edit plan to remove or add items. The estimate updates as you go. When the plan looks right, click Approve and build.

Share a plan for sign-off

Send a read-only link to a partner, client or manager. They can comment on any part, and you see when the plan is approved. Turn the link off at any time.
